You can choose based on your primary goal for the session:
Restorative Massage is best for stress relief, relaxation, nervous system support, and overall well-being.
Therapeutic Massage is best for pain relief, chronic tension, movement restrictions, injury recovery, and orthopedic or medical massage concerns.
If you're unsure, simply choose the option that feels closest to what you're looking for. This gives me a starting point for understanding your goals and preparing for your session. We can always adjust the treatment approach once we begin based on your needs that day.

There is no waiting room, so please arrive about 5–10 minutes before your session time. My door should be open when you arrive, but if it is closed, please wait quietly and I will greet you shortly.
Your first session begins with a brief intake conversation where we will discuss your goals, health history, and any areas of concern. This helps me tailor the session specifically to your needs.
After intake, I will step out of the room so you can undress to your comfort level and get settled under the sheets. I will knock and check in before re-entering the room.
At the end of your session, I will step out again while you get dressed. Once you are ready, you can open the door and I will return to discuss the session and complete checkout.

Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment. During the session, you will undress to your comfort level and be professionally draped with sheets at all times. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
Most clients choose to undress to their underwear, but you should do whatever feels most comfortable for you. For best results, allowing direct skin contact in the areas you would like worked on can help provide smoother, more effective treatment.

This depends on your individual needs and goals. For chronic pain or injury recovery, weekly sessions may be beneficial initially. For general wellness and stress management, every 2–4 weeks is common.
Consistent bodywork is more effective than occasional sessions. Regular massage can help maintain tissue mobility, improve flexibility and circulation, and support nervous system regulation, allowing your body to hold changes more effectively over time.
Ongoing sessions may also help reduce chronic pain and inflammation, support recovery, improve sleep quality, and prevent the buildup of long-term tension patterns.
We can discuss a schedule that best supports your goals and how your body responds to treatment.

Massage therapy can be beneficial for many conditions, but certain situations may require modifications or physician clearance. Please share your full health history during intake so I can ensure your session is safe, appropriate, and effective for your needs.
